A full-service logistics company is growing in Charleston County, creating 35 jobs.
Argents Air Express Ltd., headquartered in Hilton Head, is investing $ 400,000 in its North Charleston site to increase the company’s fulfillment and distribution capabilities to serve its Southeast customers, as announced in a press release .
The expansion is expected to be completed this fall, bringing the company’s national footprint to over 350,000 square feet.
“With our family in the Lowcountry for over 25 years, we couldn’t be more excited about our expansion in the Charleston area,” Tony Chiappetta, co-owner of Argents Air Express, said in a statement. “The port’s continued growth and access to a constantly growing talent pool, we are convinced that this facility is the ideal place to expand our full range of logistics offerings. “
Argents Air Express was founded in 1977 and provides import, export and domestic freight services to retailers and consumers. As they leave their warehouse at 9015 Slightline Drive in North Charleston, they will continue to operate at 4115 Dorchester Road, Building 600.
Other Argentinian locations across the country include Chicago and Seattle.
